Milltown Singers Take That singing workshop.

Each August we hold a singing workshop that is open to all comers. In past years our themes have covered Billy Joel, The Bond Movies, Queen, The Carpenters, Elton John and The Lion King, to name but a few. This year we will be learning a medley of songs from Take That.

We have  tremendous fun, but prepare to work hard too!

Date: Saturday 8th August 2026   
Timings: Registration from 9.30am.  We start singing at 10.00am and end at 5.00pm
Venue: Chasewell Community Hall, Avocet Way, Cherwell Heights, Banbury, OX16 9YA ( if it's a hot day the aircon will be on).
Theme: Songs from Take That
Cost:  £20pp.

What happens on the day
. Please arrive in plenty of time to be booked in.
. Your fee covers music  which will be given to you on arrival.  Please return at the end of the day to be redistributed to choir               members in the Autumn term
 . We supply refreshments during the day....most importantly cake in the afternoon!
.  Please bring your own lunch.
.  At the end of the afternoon we will record what we have learned throughout the day.

Parking
If the car park is full  you can use the bus turning circle under the trees. Please park in a single line to avoid blocking the exits at either end.

Milltown Christmas concert 2026

Venue:  North Oxfordshire Academy, Drayton Road, Banbury, OX16 0UD
​Timings: 7.30 pm to 10.00 pm 
Doors open at 7.00pm 
Cost of tickets £8 pp but free to under twelves.
